Top 5 Wednesday- Fictional Items You Want

Hello, Fellow Book Worms!

This is the last question for the month of February from the Goodreads group Top 5 Wednesday. For those of you who do not know, it is a group created by Lainey from You Tube's GingerReadsLainey. Every Wednesday we answer a question, and share our answers to the book community.

This week's question is one we have all thought of at one time or another: What Fictional Items Would You Want to Use or Own? I delved into comic books for this one.

  1.  Legion Flight Ring: Debuting in DC Comics' Adventure Comics #329, this article of jewelry belongs to all Legion of Super-Heroes members of the future. With it one may fly in any atmosphere. Made from indestructible Valorium metal, it is also been worn by Superboy and Booster Gold. I would never be late getting places by flying.
  2.  Tantu Totem: Debuting in DC Comics' Action Comics #521, Vixen appeared in the Dc Universe along with her magical necklace: the Tantu Totem. With it she can possess the abilities of any any animal enabling her to fly, have super strength, re-grow limbs, swim underwater, etc. It does have one small side effect in that it also can make you take on animal traits that may be uncontrollable. But for the ability to fly, it's worth it to me.
  3.  The Helmet of Nabu: Debuting in More Fun Comics #55, this DC Comics mystical headgear has infinite abilities. With it one may harness the powers of Doctor Fate, a powerful being that has worked with the Justice Society of America, as well as the Justice League. This helmet is inviting to wear, however those who wear it must be strong-willed or the helmet will turn them mad. I think I am strong-willed enough to wear this awesome hat. Hopefully the powers at be would not disagree.
  4.  Mutant Healing: Morvel Comics' Wolverine has amazing healing abilities, and has exhibited them many times in the comics. With some of the health issues I have had in the past, this ability would have come in handy.
  5.  Time Jump Suit: First appearing in Image Comics' Chrononauts issues one through four, this suit has it all. It is a personal time machine that can be programmed to go anywhere in time. Too bad Corbin Quin and Danny Reilly had so many issues with the technology. I would love to get my hands on one of these suits. I would go back in time to meet some of my favorite authors and comic book creators. And get some Crystal Pepsi from teh eighties, I loved that stuff.

There you have it, five of the best fictional items that I would love to use or own. I look forward to reading more responses. And as always feel free to comment below.

Because there is always time to read,
