Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,   I will first start by saying that I enjoyed the Rise of Skywalker. I felt it fixed many issues from the Force Awakens and Last Jedi and gave the fans a satisfying end to the Skywalker Saga. But if viewers were not readers of the other Star Wars media, such as comics and books, the Rise of Skywalker may have been confusing. From Palpatine's return to the Force Dyad, there was a lot to unpack, and not a lot of explanations to back up the many questions that surfaced.   I wanted to share with my readers my thoughts on the entire new trilogy before I read the expanded novel by Rae Carson. Remember, these are my opinions and are not meant to tell you how to enjoy your fandom.  Here are ten observations I came away from the new trilogy with: 1. Captain Phasma- she was a cool character that was vastly underused in the films. Her armor's capability, training, and even escape from Stark...

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,   Since December 2015, the enigmatic character of Rey has captivated audiences of all ages. This strong-willed scavenger from the desert planet Jakku surprised Star Wars fans (and the First Order) with her Force-wielding abilities. And with her academy-level knowledge of starships and vehicles, she drove the Millenium Falcon expertly. She also built her own speeder to transport salvage to Niima Outpost to exchange for rations. She speaks fluent droid and is fairly skilled at hand-to-hand combat with her staff. Fans worldwide have offered their assessment of the origins of the franchise's latest dynamic lead. Then finally, with the Rise of Skywalker, Rey's full story was told, which I will cover here. Spoilers for Episode IX ahead.        Using the current canon books and various media, it is time for me to share with you what I have discovered about the galaxy's most mysterious...

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   Tuesday Talks is a wonderful group on Goodreads that is a weekly discussion forum created by BookTubers Janie Johnson and her pal, Janelle. It is a fun and active group to be a part of.  Unfortunately this group's weekly topic ended in 2017. I would like to carry on this tradition by stepping back in time to answer those weeks that I did not.      This week's retro-question is:   What authors you would like to see co-write a book together? There are so many awesome authors out there that meet this subject's requirements. But I decided to stay on target with a certain subject: Star Wars.   In the newest cannon by Disney-Lucasfilm we have seen many writers display their love for the galaxy far, far away with stellar books. These books not only flesh out the universe, but pay homage to one of the most beloved franchises. Two writers I would love to see co-write a Star Wars book tog...
