Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   Top 5 Wednesday is a Goodreads Book Club that meets weekly to answer questions presented.  Our moderators are YouTubers, Lainey (GingerReadsLainey) and Samantha (ThoughtsOnTomes). I enjoy how every week this group brings the book community together. Great fun!   This week's question asks: What are your Top 5 Favorite Mothers o r Maternal Figures? The Witch's Boy by Kelly Barnhill - this whimsical middle-grade novel introduces us to Sister Witch. She is mother of two beautiful little boys who one day fall into the river. Her only surviving boy, Ned, is custodian to a great magic while she is away. But Sister Witch's magic is so powerful that when Ned is in danger, she risks everything to return to her boy no matter the cost. But a secret that she has kept, brings Ned's deceased brother back to him in a way he could never imagine. I loved her bravery and compassion, and Sister Witch makes my number one maternal

Book Review: Notorious Nineteen by Janet Evanovich

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,   I have been bitten by a bug and her name is Stephanie Plum! After reading Explosive Eighteen, I was in love with the characters and the adventure that this series brings. I have plenty of Stephanie to catch up on , since I have only read two books from the series (Twelve Sharp I read a few years ago). Janet Evanovich has a fantastic way of stealing away a day from me. I find that when I read her books, that I cannot put them down. They are fun, exciting, and sometimes side-splitting hysterical. I also have the amazing narrating tale nts of Lorelei King to read me the books should I not be able to physically read. The combination of Evanovich and King is magic, and I am loving the spell being put on me.    Notorious Nineteen is the twenty sixth novel featuring Stephanie Plum. It's hard to believe that it has been t wenty two years since the debut of One For the Money.    Aft er the events of Explosive Eighteen, Step han

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   Top 5 Wednesday is a awesome Goodreads Book run by moderators are YouTubers, Lainey (GingerReadsLainey) and Samantha (ThoughtsOnTomes). I enjoy how every week this group brings the book community together. Great fun!   This week's question asks: What are your Top 5 Most Intimidating Books? I chose books with large page numbers, since lately my page limit has been under five hundred. The Count of Monte Christie by Alexandre Dumas - this huge book has crossed paths with my To Be Read list many times over the past couple of decades. The more I pick it up, the more I feel that a book of this size may be too much to handle. My book reading lately has been limited to five hundred pages. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo -  with over fourteen hundred pages, this monster of a book has been walked to the counter of Barnes and Noble many times. With their special edition binding, I always feel that I can read it. Fast forward a few edit
