Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   For many years the woman named Stephanie Plum has been shot at, had her apartment blown up, threatened repeatedly, shot at, car bombed, stuck in a romantic triangle, shot at, and let's not forget... shot at. It would appear that Janet Evanovich hates her heroine, but I believe that she loves her fans more. Because this latest installment in the much-loved series is the best one by far!   Twisted Twenty-Six is written by Janet Evanovich, and is the thirtieth book in the Stephanie Plum series. It is published by G.P. Putnam and Sons, an imprint of Penguin Randon House. Taking place shortly after Look Alive Twenty-Five, we are attending the funeral of Grandma Mazur's latest husband, Jimmy Rosolli. Dropping dead on his honeymoon, Jimmy apparently left behind something...keys. But what do the keys open? Where did he stash them? Grandma does her best to evade Jimmy's three sisters and their poison cookies. But can she es

Book Review: The Outsider by Stephen King

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   As a fan of crime thrillers and horror novels, I love to sit down and enjoy a spooky tale. But when my two favorite genres collide and produce something even more exciting, I take it slow and savor the story.   The Outsider is written by Stephen K ing and is published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster . In this explosive thriller, we are introduced to Ralph Anders on, a detective with t he Flint City police. When a child is found murdered , the prime suspect is local kids coach, Terry M a itland . Eyewitnesses put him at the scene and forensic evidence matches Maitland's own. Ralph, infuriated by the police's findings, arrests Maitland at a local ball game. But their evidence is no match for well-documented proof that Maitland was in another city at the time of the murder. Which begs the question: how can one man be in two places at the same time?   The case grows exponentially weirder as the supe

When I discovered M a ry Burton's newest series last year with Hide and Seek , I was pleasantly sur prised . She has a fun writing style that blends crime thrillers and romance. Since I am not a fan of romance novels, I was certain I would not like her writing. I was very wrong.    I See You is Mary Burton's second book of her new Criminal Profil er series. In it, we are int roduced to a d isgraced reporter, Nikki McDonald. She is on the hunt for the story that will re-launch her career. But when a tip leads her to the remains of a long-dead girl, she may be in over her head. Enter Special Agent Zo e Spencer, whose job is to painstakingly reconstruct a likeness from skeletal remains. She is diligent in her work and soon the remains are identified as Marsha Prince, the daughter of a wealthy business owner , missing for ma

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,   Princess Leia Organa. No matter what medium you are aware of her from, she has been a household name for over forty years. This Galactic Senator from Alderaan paved the way for the downfall of the Empire. Over a decade later she delayed the First Order's arrival by six years by destroying their base on Sibensko. She is the twin sister of Jedi Knight, Luke Skywalker; wife to Han Solo; and mother to the Ben Solo, who became the malevolent Kylo Ren of the First Order. She never backs down and is one step ahead of her enemies. Her stare can silence a Wookie. And her compassion for her people always leads her to victory.      Now, using the current canon books and various media, it is time for me to share with you what I have discovered about the galaxy's most famous princess. Regardless of whether you may agree or not, this analysis is meant to be a fun way to speculate and celebrate one of Star Wars' most endea
