Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   To say that I have enjoyed the Jane Hawk series is an understatement. Every book had left me exhilarated and with such excitement that I immediately went to the next book to see what would happen. Dean Koontz has taken the crime thriller and turned it upside down. Espionage, secret societies, rogue FBI agents, and adrenaline-fired action have left me breathless. I have recommended every book to my readers and to friends and family. Back in 2019, I was fortunate enough to receive an early copy thanks to Netgalley, and Penguin Random House. After four books, I was treated to a finale unlike any that I could have ever expected.    The Night Window is written by Dean Koontz, and it is published by Bantam Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House. In this final installment of the widely popular thriller series, Jane Hawk is closer to her goal and ready to strike. After narrowly escaping the cabal known as the Techno...

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!     With her husband killed by a secret society bent on ruling the country, Jane Hawk is on the run. She has been demonized by her adversaries and they have threatened her young child. But this "rogue" FBI agent is many steps ahead of them, as she gathers evidence to bring them down. It is a nail-biting roller-coaster ride of a series that came to an end in book five in May 2019. It is a series every crime thriller reader should experience. With that being said, let us delve into book four of this series.   The Forbidden Door is written by Dean Koontz. It is published by Bantam Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House Publishing. In this fourth installment of the widely popular crime thriller series, Jane Hawk is left with a disturbing scenario. After she survives her deadly battle with Booth Hend...

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!    Just the thought of a free or reduced-price book gets me very excited. I love opening up a store's site and seeing books reduced. And when the books all come from the same author, the wallet may have to suffer. In my case, Kindle had a bunch of Melinda Leigh thrillers on sale with audiobooks. I took the plunge and after this book, I am happy that I did.       Cross Her Heart is the latest novel from suspense writer, Melinda Leigh. It is published by Montlake Publishing, an imprint of Amazon. In this first book of a new series, we are introduced to homicide detective Bree Taggert. A survivor of horrific domestic violence, Bree worked hard to become a member of law enforcement. Estranged from her siblings, she tries to include them. Then one day she receives a desperate call from her sister, Erin. Driving to see her sister,...
