Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons !   Top 5 Wednesday is a Goodreads Book Club that meets weekly to answer questions presented.  Our moderators are YouTubers, Lainey (GingerReadsLainey) and Samantha (ThoughtsOnTomes). I enjoy how every week this group brings the book community together.   Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!   May was definitely a weird month for me to read. Blame it on retrograde, blame it on life, or blame it on binge watching television. But this month was not a good month for finishing books for me. But a new month is on the horizon and Summer time is close. S ince I do not have a new review planned for this week , I decided to take it easy this holiday weekend and focus on reading. All regular postings will resume on Monday morning, starting with next week's Comics P ull List.   With that being said, let's see how I did this month.   Books Read and Reviewed:     Alien: Out of t he Shadows by Tim Lebbon This Time Together by Carol Burnett  Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher *****************************************************      Yes, that is all the books that I read this month. It is a little disappointing, but I am okay with this. A lot of times readers are ...

Hello, Fellow Geeks, Nerds, and Children at Heart,   What is a childhood? What is it about how we grew up that we retreat to in times of sadness and worry? For many of us it is the naive times of wonder where anything was possible, and we colored in the world to suit us like a coloring book.   I understand that many of you reading this may have not had a childhood or a good childhood. But I do not pity you or say that I am sorry for this. I say that you have lived harder times, and this has made you a stronger person. I say that you saw things before you should have, and this has changed you forever. You may now live as an adult that is either cautious around others, or someone that is too serious at times. There is no problem with this. A cautious person is almost always successful, taking in situations slowly and methodically. And one who is too serious helps hold together those who cannot be brave. We are shaped by what we have learned, by who we have known, a...
