With the sequel, Legendary, arriving on May 29, 2018. I definitely want to get to this. Into That Bright Unknown by Rae Carson- Since I have the trilogy and have read book one, it is time to take on book two and this book, part three. I feel revitalized and feel that I can now begin with a clean slate. Here are my Top Five Reading Resolutions: Visit my local libraries more often- I have several libraries in my area that have a lot of great programs that I would like to attend. It is a fun and active group to be a part of.    This week's question is: What are the most infuriating characters that you have read? Uncle Hiram from Walk the Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson- this devious relative of heroine, Leah Westfall, murdered and cheated his way to the California Gold Rush of the late 1800s. His tactics were under-handed and deplorable. To read his narrative in this book made my skin crawl. King Victor from the Silver Blackthorn series by Kerry Wilkinson- this despotic tyrant lied to the people to become their leader. I always love to answer the questions posted here.   This week's question is: Tuesday Talks: Do You Unhaul Books and If So, How Often?    The art of unhauling books is something that I have not done in some time. As an adult I tend to accumulate books by the dozens. I love venturing into book fairs, thrift stores and book shops searching for that next, great read. Then I somehow make room for my latest acquisition s in my home. But when I do gather books that I do not want I do this a couple of ways: Donations to Goodwill, library book fairs, or hospitals : t his is a great way to hand down books that no longer have interest or value to you. Some of us just recently discovered reading.  I mainly buy previously owned books, but I also love to visit my local book shops and show my support. Whatever reason you may have a book in your hand, think of one thing before you read: what is the history of this book?   THE OLD:   For me buying books has always been an adventure mainly because I rarely buy a new book. I travel to thrifts stores,  flea markets, and book fairs to acquire my reads. I find it a fun challenge to pick up books that I have been wanting to read for a while at a low price. And most book fairs and thrift stores support a charity and the community, which makes your purchase more meaningful.  I have recently discovered new books that were released in 2015 at my local Goodwill.
