Tuesday Talks- Unusual Names in Books

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!

Tuesday Talks is an wonderful group on Goodreads that is a weekly discussion forum created by BookTubers Janie Johnson and her pal, Janelle. It is a fun and active group to be a part of.

Lately my career and various projects have taken me away from reading and blog posting. Now it is time to catch up on the many book club assignments, readings, and questions.

This question is from Tuesday Talk's February 7th subject:
What are some unusual names you discovered while reading?

In my journeys through books I have picked up on many amazing names. Here are a few:

  1. Aine (On-Yah), the daring young daughter of a thief who participates in the battle to save her kingdom from nefarious forces from Witch's Boy by Kelly Barnhill
  2.  Jas Imari, the fearless Zabrakian bounty hunter that becomes an unlikely ally to teh New Republic during teh Battle of Akiva from Star Wars: Aftermath by Chuck Wendig
  3.  Sinjir Rath Velus, the defected Imperial officer that becomes a vital ally to Rebel forces trapped on the planet of Akiva during a blockade from the Imperial Remnant from Star Wars: Aftermath by Chuck Wendig
  4.  Leah Westfall, the brave teenage girl with magical powers to sense gold during teh Gold Rush of teh late 1800s from Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson
  5.  Ponyboy Curtis, the classic main protagonist from the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
