Top 5 Wednesday- Current Favorites That Are Not Books

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!

Top 5 Wednesday is a Goodreads Book Club that meets weekly to answer questions presented.  Our moderators are YouTubers, Lainey (GingerReadsLainey) and Samantha (ThoughtsOnTomes). I enjoy how every week this group brings the book community together. Great fun!

I have had a break from blog posting, and now it is time to play a game of catch-up.

February 1st's question asked: What are your Top 5
Current Favorites that Aren't Books?

  1.  DC Comics Rebirth- this series-spanning event began in June of 2016. Utilizing some of the industries greatest creators, it set off to correct continuity issues, as well as bring about a more cohesive DC Universe. It has gone on to be a top seller monthly with comic shops nation-wide.
  2. Stranger Things- this Netflix original series takes place in the 1980s focusing on the friendship of several neighborhood children. When a mysterious girl with telekinetic powers arrives after their friend is kidnapped, they race against time to free the abducted boy from an alternate dimension called the Upside Down.  #JusticeForBarb
  3.  Coloring Books- I love to sit down and select a page from my collection of coloring books. I put on an audio book and let my markers create a new art piece.
  4. Comic Book Conventions- I love attending pop culture conventions. Last year I worked at Boston Comic Con and also attended ConnectiCon and New York Comic Con. There is nothing like traveling through teh various vendors, attending panels, or getting autographs from my favorite creators.
  5.   The CW- Even when they were known at the WB Network I was always faithfully watching their programming. Nowadays with Supergirl, Arrow, Flash and other DC Comics projects being brought to live-action, I am once again faithfully viewing their programs. Riverdale has become a new obsession, which retells the Archie comics characters' stories in a more adult manner.

Have fun reading this week. Let me know in the comments below what you are reading.
