2024 Review Policy



 Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,

    Xepherus Reads delves into book reviews, comics, and anticipated releases, and I offer book-related information and tips. 


  I am open to receiving material for review, however, I have created a Review Policy that covers what I review. Please read below, and I thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I only accept books from publishers and authors. Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) are always welcome.

Books That I Accept for Review:


·                      Adult Fiction (All Genres) 

·                     Biographies and Memoirs

·                     Comic Books (All Genres)

·                     Graphic Novels and Trade Paperbacks (All Genres)

·        Middle-Grade fiction (All Genres)

·                     Non-Fiction (Historical, Memoirs, Biographies, and Supernatural)

·                     Young Adult fiction (All genres)


Books That I Do Not Accept for Review:

·                     Automotive or Fix-It

·                     Beauty and Cosmetics 

·                     Cooking and Culinary

·                     Erotica

·                     Photography

·                     Poetry

·                     Religion


  When I review a book, I am 100% honest about my feelings. I cannot guarantee that I will like a book that is sent to me. But I will be as positive as I can if I do not like a book. I do not "trash" books in my reviews, and I do look for positive aspects of a book.

  I do not need to read a book series in order to review the latest release. I believe if the author is good enough, he or she will be able to relate past occurrences. If the narrative is written well, I will be able to follow the story.

  When I receive a book from an author or publisher, I will always mention this fact in my review. Mentioning sponsors is a big part of my networking.

  I cannot guarantee a time that I will finish and review your book. However, if you need your book read by a certain time or for an event you wish me to attend, please let me know in advance.

  I post all reviews on this blog, which I link to all of my social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and Goodreads.

  If you are interested in contacting me for the purpose of sending me books for review, please contact me by email (Xepherus3@gmail.com). I check all correspondence daily and will answer all messages in order of receipt. Please give me time to answer.
