Tuesday Talks: Most Infuriating Characters

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!

Tuesday Talks is an wonderful group on Goodreads that is a weekly discussion forum created by BookTubers Janie Johnson and her pal, Janelle. It is a fun and active group to be a part of.

This week's question is: What are the most infuriating characters that you have read?

  1. Uncle Hiram from Walk the Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson- this devious relative of heroine, Leah Westfall, murdered and cheated his way to the California Gold Rush of the late 1800s. His tactics were under-handed and deplorable. To read his narrative in this book made my skin crawl.
  2. King Victor from the Silver Blackthorn series by Kerry Wilkinson- this despotic tyrant lied to the people to become their leader. Then he systematically employed and murdered their children for his own pleasure. Heroine, Silver Blackthorn's rebellion against his tyranny made for one epic trilogy!
  3. Evari Chalis from Star Wars: Battlefront- Twilight Company by Alexander Freed- this defector from the Empire promised to help the Rebellion in their efforts to defeat Imperial forces. But her constant under-handed ways and inability to face Darth Vader, made her a liability that almost cost the Rebellion several victories. I wanted to slap her many times during the book's narrative.
  4. Clayton Thumbs from Storm Shelter by April Salee- this bully was a thorn in the main character, Amelia's,  side. But she managed to turn this stubborn boy around later in the book. As much as he was a pain to deal with, I have to admit that his name is perfect for a bully.
  5. Gerwulf Grimoire from Plum Spooky and the Lizzie and Diesel series by Janet Evanovich-  tall, dark, and sexy as hell, Wulf remains an often deadly adversary for Stephanie Plum, Lizzie Tucker, Diesel. He pops up when you least expect, puts you in danger, and has annoying habit of killing people who get in his way. What makes him so infuriating is that he also very attractive, which sometimes can throw you off. But beware this demon in disguise!

Have fun reading this week. Let me know in the comments below what comics you are reading.
