My 2019 Reading Goals Year End Wrap Up

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons!

  The year has reached the final days and I want to share with you how I did with my 2019 Reading Goals. 

2019 Bookish Reading Goals Wrap Up:

  1. Tab all books that I read with removable flags: I have loved this option. It has helped me reach my reading goals faster having a visual marker. 
  2. Create a dedicated To Be Read pile: I created a 2020 TBR pile last month.
  3. Alphabetize shelves: This will never happen, but I do know where they are on my disorganized shelves.
  4. Buy more library sleeves to protect the books that I am reading: This seemed to be less of a priority this year since I began selling books in my eBay store. I cover the books while I read them, but transfer the book into a protective bag after. I just reuse the library sleeve on the next book that I read. 
  5. Take a break from reading: This was what I did during the holiday season this year. I would rather not read and take care of holiday plans, than do both and not enjoy what I am reading.
  6. Change out genres: I have tried, but my reading genre list was mostly crime thrillers again. 
  7. Unhaul books that are no longer needed: This happened in a great quantity. I gave away books to charity. And gave comics to my family to enjoy.
  8. Finally, read some of the comics I keep buying: I have had a great year rediscovering comic books. I have attended conventions and purchased some amazing stories. My favorite was the revitalization of the X-Men franchise this year by Jonathan Hickman.
