The Most Disturbing Book: Say Goodbye by Lisa Gardner

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,

  Spooky Season is here!

Let's go back in time and go over some of the most disturbing thrillers I have read. First up:

The single most terrifying villain in any crime novel I have read lives in Say Goodbye. FBI Agent Kimberly Quincy is on the trail of an evil man who believes himself to be more than human. Killing his victims slowly, cacoooning their bodies, and hanging them from trees, Mr. Dinhcara hunts and destroys. A product of horrific child abuse at a young age, Dinhcara does not know mercy. His brand of justice is deadly and swift. Excellent character development and strong family bonds drove this exciting tale forward to a shattering (and somewhat supernatural) ending.

Trigger Warnings: child abuse, sexual abuse, graphic violence, spiders, and violence toward a pregnant Agent Quincy.

If you like terrifying villains and lots of gore with some paranormal, this book is for your Halloween reading.
