February Wrap-Up & March TBR Jar Hopes

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,

      February was a busy birthday month for me. I was fortunate enough to spend several days in New York City. ABC Studios was my home for a few days as an audience member of Kelly & Mark and Tamron Hall's daytime talk shows. NBC Studios was my home for a day as a part of The Kelly Clarkson Show's studio audience. Great food, great friends, and a few trips to the bookstore made 54 a great age so far.

  I was also lucky enough to pull one of my TBR Jar hopes. As with any busy month, reading was accomplished when I had free time. I may have only read two books in February; at least they were amazing.

  I also began writing my second thriller novel. As ARCs of my debut novel reach hands, I move forward with book two.

Reading Habits: Book/ Audiobook Combination

  Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,     I have been speaking with other readers about how they read. For some, they only read an e-book. For others an audio book on the way to work saves them time. But then there are readers like myself that take it a few steps further. I utilize many forms of reading when taking on a book. With my Goodreads and Xepherus Reads reading challenge s underway, I have found some great ways to keep on reading.   AUDIOBOOK/ BOOK COMBINATION-  I have trouble with reading from time to time. I will begin a paragraph, but then I veer off track and lose my place. This can sometimes keep me reading a page over and over. Therefore I use an audio book in conjunction with my physical book, so that I can read along with the words as the narrator presents the material. This is most helpful while reading my Kindle, which when paired up with audio book through their Whis...
