Thriller Series Review: Jane Hawk Series by Dean Koontz

Happy New Year, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,

When you need a pulse-ponding adrenaline rush, what is better than a thriller series? When Dean Koontz writes a thriller, he writes nail-biting chapters that make you stay up well past your bedtime.

Enter Jane Hawk, an FBI Agent with a loving husband and son. When she discovers her husband dead by suicide, she knows that something is not right. And when her son is threatened by an unknown voice, she finds herself on the run. She is accused of his murder and has been disowned by the FBI. Sending her son into hiding, Hawk embarks on a five-book journey to find the truth and take down those who murdered her husband.

But her husband's killer is one step ahead.

I found Jane Hawk by accident one day scrolling through Audible. I used a credit to listen to The Bone Farm and was hooked. I immediately began to look for more Jane Hawk books and found four books, with one on the way. Over the course of a few months I was done with book four and ready for book five. I was gifted an early copy of The Night Window by the publisher and finished that in two days.

The Jane Hawk series is a special kind of thriller. It is filled with likeable characters, sweeping adventure, and at times a skin-crawling horror. I cannot recommend this series enough. The audiobooks are expertly narrated by Elisabeth Rodgers and I read the series in part with her work.

Below are my reviews of this incredible series. Simply click on the books below and watch me go further into why this is one of my favorite thriller series of novels.
