Cozy Mystery Series Review: Murder in an Irish Village Series by Carlene O'Connor

Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,

Welcome to Kilbane in Cork County, Ireland. A small village with a long history, Kilbane is home to the O'Sullivan Clan. Siobhan does her best to keep her family's bistro in business after the untimely death of her parents. With siblings as old as ten, she has her hands full.

When the brother of the man accused of their parent's death resurfaces, Siobhan is uneasy. But the situation gets worse when the man is found dead in her family's bistro. Determined to find the truth, Siobhan embarks on  a journey to become a sleuth that spans twelve books.

This is a wonderful series filled with mystery, family, and many laughs. I have read five of the books and loved every one. I look forward to enjoying the remaining books this year. O'Connor has created a community that you love to revisit. The pace is fast, the characters are delightful, and the twists are fun. Caroline Lennon narrates the series and brings an extra layer of realism with her many voices.

If you need a way to break a reading slump, this series is an excellent choice. Below are my reviews of the books I have read in the series. Click on the book covers to view my thoughts.
