- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl- Chocolate, peppermint, and caramel
- Flowers in the Attic by VC Andrews- Construction paper, musty clothing, and doughnut
- Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell- Gunpowder, fresh-cut grass, and burning embers
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone- Nag Champa and old books
- Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid- Cigarettes, perfume, and regret
- Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne- Dirt, sulfur, and old books
- Notorious Nineteen by Janet Evanovich- Doughnuts, coconut suntan lotion, and fried chicken
- The Shining by Stephen King- Bourbon, cigarettes, and engine oil
