Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,

     My name is Thomas Bahr. I am a 52-year-old writer from Connecticut. I have reached my life goal of finishing my first novel and look forward to self-publishing my work for everyone to enjoy. However, publishing is an expensive event to proceed with.


In 2023, my small online business lost its footing and I became deep in debt. I was left scrambling for alternate ways to bring an income in. At my age with several health issues, I have been passed over many times by employers who have opted for younger and healthier candidates. Remote work has been few.

I have persevered and changed my online business with minimal effects. With credit being my only recourse, I survived until November 2023 and then was left without credit or income. In 2024 sales are low, and I have little income. This novel can be what I need to help my life move forward.

I am asking for help to remove my debt and move me closer to my publishing goal. $5,000.00 is probably lower than I need. But at this point, any amount will help. At almost $80,000 in debt between personal loans, credit card debt, and student loans, I feel like I am drowning. My health insurance was stopped. My dental insurance was stopped. I have been left feeling defeated and depression has been greater than normal.

I know this novel will be well-received and I am excited to bring it to all of you. I need a helping hand to move forward out of this quicksand I am in.
