  Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,    Regarding BookTube, I love watching reading enthusiasts recap their years in reading. Destiny Sidewell released a fun book tag for 2023. I took a few questions from the original list and enjoyed filling in my answers.    My 2023 was filled with re-reads, so my answers are not necessarily books published in 2023.  1) The most disappointing book of the year- What Lies in the Woods by Kate Alice Marshall (it was not a bad book. In fact, I loved the story and enjoyed the characters. But I figured things out pretty fast and the two reveals I saw coming early on.) 2) Underdog of the Year- The Bone Farm by Dean Koontz (I hear no one talk about this amazing short story audiobook. It is suspenseful and is a great introduction to Jane Hawk.)  3) Favorite book couple of the year- Shea Collins and Detective Mike from The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James (Their flirtation is adorable. As excited as I was for this, I needed to make sure my attention was on editing and finishing my debut novel. As the months went by, I realized that I had not read very many books for the first time.    But that is okay. At least I worked to finalize my own novel.   Hello, Fellow Book Worms and Book Dragons,       Christmas books can be whimsical, touching, or downright hysterical. Whatever Christmas book that you love to read, we can all agree that they make the holidays a lot brighter.   Here are my favorite books that I pull out every Christmas:   How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Suess-  This childhood classic never gets old. I always love reading this tale of a Grinch in need of Christmas cheer. Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark mysteries-  this mother-daughter collaboration has been a holiday staple for mystery fans for decades. The two authors crossover their popular detectives to create a whimsical and adventurous tale with every book. Dashing Through the Snow is my favorite so far.
